The History

As two friends sat on the porch drinking a soda, they watched the ants invade their cat’s food dish. They started discussing how much food had to be thrown out because the cats wouldn’t eat it. They talked about both cat and dog dishes attracting ants and how disgusting it can be. Then the idea – how about a bowl designed to keep ants and other crawling insects out. The two friends sought the help of a few engineers who said it couldn’t be done and especially without chemicals. However, that didn’t stop these two entrepreneurs. Eventually, an engineer was found, a design was created, and a patent attained. Introducing, the Bowzer Bowl - the antless pet dish.

The Company

Bowzer Products, Inc. was formed in 1994. Investors were sought out to raise capital for the manufacturing of the bowl. To date there are 1 million shares issued. White Mop Wringer Company of Tampa, FL was contracted to manufacture the Bowzer Bowl.
